I need a special template for a book I wish to write

You might have noticed that some books, like commentaries, often have a main
section on each page that is separate from a section on the bottom of the
page that is used for a parallel development of ideas. Is such a template
available in Microsoft Word?

Probably not - but have you checked Google to see if it's available
somewhere else on the web?
