I'm trying to calculate angles between planets for an astrological chart
and wind up with absolute (positive) numbers, but can't figure out how
to make all my conditions work together (see attached file):
I've tried using the IF formula calculator, and was only able to come
up with the formula below, which applies only to condition 4.
=IF((O2-O14)<=-190,(O2-O14)+360)
The conditions I want to cram into each cell are as follow:
1. If answer is from 0.0 to 190.0°, no change (e.g. Sun-Moon)
2. If answer is from 190.1 to 359.9, subtract 360.0 and make absolute
(e.g. Jupiter-Ascendant)
3. If answer is from -0.1 to -190.0, make absolute (e.g. Sun-Mercury)
4. If answer is from -190.1 to -359.9, add 360 (e.g. Moon-Chiron, above
formula applied)
Any help anyone could lend or any changes to my formula(e) would be
greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
