I Need Help Creating In-line Instructions that Won't Show Up When Printed

I'm trying to generate a Word Doc (Office 2002) with some in-line
instructions for the user. The catch is that when the user prints the
document, I want the entered content to show, but not the instructions
that are included.

I do not want to use the "comment" feature because that will be needed
for editing of the document at a later point.

Does anyone have any creative suggestions?

Thank you.

I have the same need, though my instructions will probably all be at
the beginning of the document.

You can make text viewable only on the screen by checking "Hidden" in
the Font properties. Then in Tools/Option/View, turn on viewing of
hidden text. The hidden text won't be printed unless you change the
print properties.

The problem with this is that the View option is tied to the computer,
not the document. So anyone else getting the document would have to
change their global options. It would nice to be able to create
settings in the document that allow text or a section to be screen-
only.
