I would not suggest using the Copy/Paste method unless you actually
Open a NEW APPOINTMENT and then paste just the text into
the new appointment.
Outlook uses a unique identifier for each appointment. If you copy the
actual appointment, and not just the text, you are creating contention
and may experience MANY problems in the future with corrupt items.
Creating a NEW appointment will avoid problems in the future.

Recurring appointments are single events - if you need to show them in a
list view, you'll need individual appointments. My suggestion, especially
if
you take notes in each occurrence, is to make the recurring meetings and
copy/paste in place as each event happens. Enter your notes in the copies.
After the last recurrence, delete the recurring meeting, leaving just the
individual appointments.

I need to get outlook to list appointment indiviudally even if they are
a
reoccurance --most especially when searching under a clients name. thus
creating an log of appointments without having to enter each day but
then
being able to pull up the list with a search under clients name.
