I need Outlook to send, NOT receive email

My company uses microsoft exchange. I use outlook 2007. I have a company
account, call it, abc[at]company.com. I need to send emails using that
account. But i dont want my outlook to download incoming emails sent to the
account abc[at]company.com. Until this time, everytime i open outlook to sent
emails using abc[at]company.com, it also downloads the incoming emails. I
want to keep the incoming mails stay on the company server. Can any body
help? Is there any outlook settings for these? Thanks in advance.

Two ways I can think of
- set your account to download the mail, but keep a copy on the mail server
- do not configure your incoming mail server; only the outgoing
