I need to be able to permanently set the tray for label printing

I go to Tools > Letters and Mailings > Envelopes and Labels > Labels >
Options >

I then change the tray under Printer Information to 'Manual Feed in Tray 1'

because I ALWAYS use this tray and manual feed to print labels.

However, every time I change it, it changes back 'Default Tray
(Automatically Select) the next time I go to print a label.

This is very annoying. I need to change it permanently to 'Manual Feed in
Tray 1'

How do I do this?

Please note this is a network HP Laser printer with several trays and is
used by several users.
