I need to convert per metre square as follows, 200m2

Hi. could someone please assist with the following.

I would like to know how I type R200m2 with the 2 after the m being the
small 2 as in per metre squared.

Several ways:
1. Format the 2 as superscript, select the 2, Format, Font Superscript, or
press Shft+Ctrl+=
2. Add the 2 as a symbol, Insert, Symbol, (normal text), "superscript two"
is between the Plus/Minus and superscript 3 symbols, and has the code
Alt+0179.

In 2007 1. works as before though The mouse driven superscript is in the
Fonts group of the Home tab. Alt+0179 (on the numeric keypad) will also work
if the character is included in the font. This incidentally is not the same
as superscript 2.

Perhaps I should have added that the superscripted 2 character is ALT+0178
(ALT+0179 is a superscripted 3 character). Either way it is not quite the
same as a 2 with the superscript font attribute. Whichever you use it would
be better not to mix them in the same document if someone else may have to
edit it later.

Graham, thanks for catching the code error (3 instead of 2), I have the 3
selected and forgot to change the selection :-(
I understand the difference between the symbol and superscripting the digit,
I tend to use the symbols instead of superscripting, they come across better
in the printed document.

And you can get "real" subs and supes for the rest of the numbers in
some fonts, in the Unicode range "Superscripts and Subscripts"
beginning at 2070.

When I enter Alt+0179, I get a superscript 3. Alt+0178 gives me the
superscript 2.

Sorry about that Jerry, as previously mentioned I accidently left the
selection on the superscript 3 and made the code note in the posting :-(
