I need a simple agreement template for a writing project between two people,
which will address rights and responsablities as well as terms of transfering
rights in case of death or incapacition.

I am using Office 2000.

I'd suggest talking to a lawyer instead of a bunch of computer geeks. Yours
is not a "simple agreement".
