I need to open several mail windows to get to an attachment

When an attachment is forwarded to me, a piture of an envelope is next to the
attachment name. When i go to open the attachement, another window opens
before I can get to the attachment. I believe the more times it was forward
the more mail windows i have to open. How do o stop this from happening??

That happens when the sender forwards the message as attachment instead of
in-line. Tell the sender of the message to clean up before sending it to
you.
