I understand that I cannot turn off Word 2007 as my default email
editor in Office Pack 2007. This is stated in Help under "Discontinued
features". I have migrated to Office Pack 2007 under XP 5.1 SP 2
This collides with applications developed to work with Word
(application features shown under Word Add Ins).
What I wonder is
1) which editor would Outlook use if I uninstall Word completely?
(Word can be left out when installing Office Pack 2007) (I hear that
in that case Outlook would use its own editor with less features than
Word.)
2) Can I prevent Outlook from accessing Word by tweaking in some way
the registry or something else?
The applications runned fine with Office Pack 2000.
Thanx
