I REQUIRE THE TWENTIETH CENTURY FRONT IN ORDER TO USE IT FOR MY LETTER HEAD
THAT HAS BEEN USED FOR SOME TIME NOW, BUT AFTER UPGRADING TO A NEW COMPUTER
WITH OFFICE 2003 BASIC INSTALLED I HAVE FOUND THAT IT DOES NOT CARRY THIS
FRONT STYLE IN FRONT LIST, CAN IT BE DOWNLOADED, AND WERE FROM, ITS DRIVING
ME NUTS.

1. Lose the caps - it is rude and incredibly hard on the eyes.
2. Google

No need to SHOUT. Just copy the Twentieth Century font file from the
C:\Windows\Fonts folder in your old computer to the corresponding folder in
your new computer.

1) Lose the caps. It's considered yelling, is incredibly rude and makes
your posts very hard to read.

2) They're called /fonts/ not /fronts/! ;o)

3) That font is not part of any version of Office. Technically it's not
just one font, it's a family - and it's commercial. If you wish to have it,
you must purchase it. There are 18 styles in three volumes.

Volume 1 - costs $118.80 for Postscript (Type1) and $190.80 for TrueType
(TT) and can be found here
http://www.fonts.com/findfonts/detail.asp?pid=243195
Volume 2 - costs $79.20 for Postscript (Type 1) and $115.20 for TrueType
(TT) and can be found here
http://www.fonts.com/findfonts/detail.asp?pid=243196
Volume 3 - costs $118.80 for Postscript (Type1) and $136.80 for TrueType
(TT) and can be found here
http://www.fonts.com/findfonts/detail.asp?pid=243197

Of course, they are available individually so, if you only want one
face/weight, you can identify it and purchase it from the full list which
can be found here
http://www.fonts.com/findfonts/identifontframe.asp?nCo=AFMT&con=identifont.
Buying font packs usually works out cheaper than buying all the faces
individually.

You say you require it for a letterhead therefore, which sounds like a
commercial thing, therefore you are ethically and morally - not to mention
legally - obliged to purchase it. If you decide not to, and someone reports
you the consequences could be dire. Font publishers don't look kindly on
those who steal their work. OK, so no one can prove it, but it's better to
be safe than sorry.

Milly,

If she thinks they're called 'fronts', she's not going to find an awful lot,
now is she...? ;o) <eg>
