i open office 07 but it locks up everytime,

when i open outlook 07 it locks up. i try the diagnostics and it say all is
fine. Safe mode it will open fine. i have to close the locked up outlook
ctrl-alt-delete, it closes easily and fast, not like it is forced, i did all
updates, for xp and for office.

any trick to fix this problem

1) try running scanost or scanpst depending on whether you are using
exchange or not.

2) try deleting the forms cache. c:\documents and settings\yourname\local
data\applications\microsoft\forms

the file to delete is frmcache.dat

be sure OL isn't running when you do the above. for me it was the forms
cache that was causing this behavior.
