I opened my file, it suddenly became corrupt, and won't print?

I have a file that has a lot of formatting, pictures, etc. A few minutes ago
when I opened the file, I added a little bit to it, in the same fashion as I
had before, and started to print it. It took FOREVER to print one page that
didn't even have formatting, so on and so forth. Then, it started trying to
print the hard drive. How do I repair my file, or how can I tell what
corrupted it? Help please?

You can try the following:
1. Open and Repair, in the File Open dialog, there is a downward-pointing
arrow on the right end of the Open button. After choosing the file, click
that arrow to get a small menu. Click "Open and Repair" in that menu.
or
2. Copying all but the last paragraph mark into a new document.
or
3. Open new blank file; Insert, File.
or
4. If these doesn't work, try opening the document in WordPad.
or
5. If all else fails, go back to the Open dialog in Word and set the "Files
of type" box to "Recover Text from Any File". You'll get a lot of garbage,
but some or all of the text should be there.
