I reinstalled Works Suite, but cannot get Word to open.

Everything else responds, just Word keeps shutting down. Can't get in to work
on previous documents...

You should first try uninstalling the "Microsoft Works Suite Add-in
for Word" in Add/Remove Programs. This add-in is known to cause
conflicts with Word.

If that doesn't work then there are several reasons for receiving
