I see emails in a folder on Exchange server but not in Entourage

When I go through Outlook Web Access, I see a ton of messages in a subfolder
under my Exchange server tree. But my Entourage 2004 is reporting the folder
as empty, because I had moved those messages onto a local folder. Entourage
says they've been moved, but OWA says they're still there on the server. How
do I get it to synchronize properly?!?

Thanks,

Mike

You can try ctrl-clicking on the root of the Exchange account in the
main window in Entourage to get to the properties adn force-reset the
Exchange cache.

That might do the trick,

Hmmm. I've done it to individual folders and here's what happens. The
emails then show up in the folder on my Entourage ok. But when I move them
to a local folder, it's the same problem - they look like they've moved (in
Entourage) but OWA shows they're still there - not moved, and if I empty the
cache again, they come back. Any ideas?

Thank you,

Mike

Weird... How long do you wait before checking back on OWA?? I don;t see
any good explanation for that,

Oddly, even after "Send and receive" or "Synchronize now", my Entourage
Inbox doesn't match the OWA Inbox. How long does it normally take for the
OWA to reflect what I've done in Entourage? Can it be forced? I've been
looking within 5 minutes; maybe it needs longer?

Ok, this is crazy. When I move, in Entourage, 10 emails from a folder on the
server to my local folder, it eventually is reflected in OWA. When I try to
move 150 or so, I see "Mail could not be received at this time". I have to
quit Entourage and restart in order to have it connect again (needless to
say I've got the password stored and am not re-entering it each time).
What's going on?!?
Perhaps relatedly, I click (in the local Sent messages) on the message I
just posted to this newsgroup, and it says "Action could not be completed.
Not enough memory." I've got tons of memory. What's that about?!?

Thanks,

Mike

That looks like a communication issue.
Do you know if the server is perfectly up to date and has all the latest
Exchange rollups?

Entourage doesn't sync Exchange like other accounts. It's not controlled
by the send & receive,

You can Ctrl-clik on the folder and force an immediate sync though,

They say it's 2 rollups behind. But this never used to happen - it's a new
problem so I doubt it's due to the configuration - something has changed.
Also I've confirmed that it happens on 2 other Entourage clients and a Linux
Exchange client (Evolution) so it has to be a server-side problem!
