I see %%%

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel I recently opened an excel document from my boss. I am supposed to fill it in and respond. When I open the document with excel wherever there is writing I see %%%%. I tried to fill in the numbers and they work fine, however when I fill in a cell that requires writing it also fills in with %%%.

I have opened the document in Numbers and it works fine. I can't resend it in that format because they don't have Numbers, so I need excel to work.

Thanks

I suspect the columns are set too narrow to display the text.

Double-click the right hand border of each column to auto-expand it.

Hope this helps
