I sometimes get "Date None" in my Outbox (Outlook 2003)

Selwyn

I have just upgraded from outlook 2000 to 2003. I am working off-line and
connecting to an exchange server (SBS 2003 upgraded at the same time). Most
of the time all is OK. However, sometimes items in my outbox are marked as
“Date None†with the sent field set to None. In this state the mail is not
sent when I synchronise. Other mail messages can be sent with this type of
message in my outbox. Editing “good†message in my outbox seems to put them
into this state.
This is a problem to other colleagues who have also updated to 2003.

Many thanks
Selwyn

Do they send ok if you stay out of the outbox? There is a known problem
caused by add-ins that mark messages "read" when you view the outbox.

Many thanks Diane.

It was norton internet security that was causing my problem.

I have fixed it by unticking the "Outlook" box in AntiSpams Configuration
(Email - Client Integration section)

I did not seem to be able to disable the Norton AntiSpam in the COM add-in
list under options.

I hope this was the correct way to do it?

Many thanks again
