I struggle lining up the task ROW from the table with the task bar onthe Gantt Chart

Does anyone know a way to superimpose a horizontal line or select
(format?) a row on the Gantt Chart to help user be sure she/he is
associating the correct task bar on the right hand chart with the
correct row from the task table on the left.

Even formatting both a summary task row and the summary task bar might
be enough to help me.

Thanks.

In the chart section of the Gantt Chart:

1) Right click and choose gridlines.
2) Make sure that Gantt Rows are selected on the left
3) Choose an interval (like 3 or so)
4) Pick a format (like a dotted line or so).

And that should do it. You can also add labels to the Gantt bar as well
if that helps them.

Right mouse click the Gantt Chart area and select Gridlines. Experiment with
lines on the right of the dialog box to get what you want. Usually lines
every two or three rows is enough.

Hello Strasser,

In addition to the advice about gridlines, you can also click a task
bar in the Gantt chart and it will select the task in the table
(left side).

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Advice was exactly what I needed, so thanks to Andrew Lvinsky, Rod
Gill and Julie
A combination of superimposing horizontal gridlines on the Gantt Chart
and clicking task bars in the Gantt Chart to highlight the
corresponding row in the table on the left solved my problem of
associating rows in the table with task bars on the Gantt Chart.
Thank you all!
Strasser.
