i think i need goal seek or other type of statistic function

difficult to explain without drawing a picture, but i need to figure out
future "x" values with given "y" values and also with a given line.

the "y" axis =

1,000,000
100,000
1,000
100
1
0

need to figure out how to get the "x" values to fit a straight, positive
sloping (45degree angle) if graphed out.

sorry i can't be more clear. thanks if someone can help.

also given is a straight line with a positive slope.

Very easy:

Just set x=y for each point being plotted. Also insure that the scaling of
both axis' are the same.

Have you tried using a Logarithmic scale for the y axis
