I have a very simple question:
I used F2 in Windows version to edit the content of a cell - what is
the equivalent command in Mac? This feature help me save a lot of
time and avoid using so much the tedious double-click? Any help is
welcome.

The very simple answer is to look in Help. Try "keyboard shortcuts".

Of course, with MacXL you can change shortcuts to nearly anything you
want using Tools/Customize/Customize keyboard...

Unfortunately, the edit cell command is not one of those you can assign
to F2 directly. If you *must* use F2, you may want to look at the
technique here:
