Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

I got my mac about 5 months ago and when I set up my work account and my hotmail account (POP), it was set up in two different folders. It was very nice and clean. One day I kept on getting a message asking me to set up my hotmail account again. I would cancel the message and continue to work without incident. One day that didn't work so I tried to recreate the account, only this time to two accounts were coming into one folder. Why did this happen?? How can I go back to this without creating rules...I shouldn't have to do that.

Are you sure your Hotmail account was originally set up as POP? It use
to be accessible using HTTP, which would appear separately from other
accounts. By default, POP accounts all go into the Inbox under "On My
Computer".

You can create an incoming POP rule under Tools --> Rules... to move all
messages for an account into its own folder. This would probably be your
simplest solution.

Hope this helps!
