i want a custom field in tasks that has 4 dropdown choices

Try asking up the corridor in the program_forms newsgroup - that's where the
forms experts hang out.

In addition to Judy's good advice, try using a few more sentences to explain exactly where you want to see this custom field and in what version of Outlook.
