Access is the program you want.
Of course, Access won't do this for you automatically any more than
Excel will automatically balance your checkbook - you'll need to use
the tools that Access provides to create one or more Tables, with
Queries and Forms. There's a fair bit of a learning curve on the
program; take a look at the Northwind sample database (which has a
customer table) for examples.
