I want to access the same outlook file on two computers

I have a desktop computer with Outlook XP on it. I just bought a wireless
notebook with Outlook 2003 on it. I want to be able to get my
email/calendar/contacts/etc on either computer and have them syncronize when
I have both on my home network.

Can I

1. Use a remote desktop program like LapLink/PCAnywhere/GoToMyPC to access
the one file on my desktop via the Internet (Any recommendations)
2. Use the remote Desktop feature of Windows XP to access my Outlook files
on my desktop from my notebook.
3. Is there someway to use Outlook on either computer and have the files
syncronize when the computers connect on my home network. (This would be my
prefered option)
4. If none of the above is an option is there an easy ws to transfer my
Outlook .pst file back and for between the computers using say "Briefcase"
5. I understand their is a way to establish an Outlook "network" Do I need a
server and special Outlook software add in for this. Sorry I am not sure of
the exact name. I believe it is Microsoft Exchange Server and I would be
using "remote files" .ost?

I am not familiar (Network Novice) with how any of the above programs work,
so anyone that has experience and is will to assist me I would greatly
appreciate it.
