I want to archive 2008 in OUtlook

Iwould like to archive on a year by year basis, so that, at the end of this
December, I could archive all of this year to a file called 2008. How do I
do this?

Easiest method that many I know have used successfully is to create a new
..pst file and name it archive2008.pst. Open it in Outlook along with your
default mail store, and then start dragging and dropping everything to that
..pst file. You will need to arrange your calendar in a table view to be
able to grab all of the relevant dates. Once you have them selected, right
click and drag to the archive2008.pst calendar FOLDER and release with
either left mouse button (move) or right mouse button (copy).

Contacts are never archived.
