I want to block sending email to an address

I have a co-worker named John Smith and a customer named John Smith. I keep
sending emails to my co-worker instead of my customer. I want to block
sending messages to co-worker John Smith. How do I do that?

Change the way the name appears in your address book, or manually put in the
email address?

Yes, for example put the middle initial in one of the names, or make one of
the names all lower case.
