I want to change the look of Office 2007 to resemble Office 2003

First off, as a PROFESSIONAL EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT, I HATE Office 2007. HATE
HATE HATE IT. I just got it for my brand new laptop at home (my office
doesn't have it) and I can't find a single thing. Even PRINTING is a
challenge. Is there a way to change it so that it resembles Office 2003 so
that I can find things? Up until now, I've been a pro at using all Microsoft
Office products. If they continue to "upgrade" like this, I guess I'll have
to go looking for something that's a little more user friendly (as this is
not.)

Deep breath. Think of it as practice for when your employer upgrades. You
will be proficient and your manager will think you are
Wonder Woman while everyone else is floundering.

Lauri.... The BIG question is:
Are they going to eventually 'upgrade' to Office 2007 at work?
You should talk to IT and find out.

If so, then JoAnn has a point.... but it isn't an absolute that your
workplace will upgrade.... they could stay with what you've got indefinitely
because of the problems people like yourself will have in changing over.

If not, then you've got other choices:
1) Get a copy of Office 2003 for Home. You can still buy it on Amazon.
2) Get OpenOffice.Org for free (http://www.openoffice.org/)
It can save in .doc. .xls formats and you'll instantly know how to use it.

There are many people that will never change to Office 2007.

Good luck!
