I want to creat a location finding program

Iam About to store around 4000 samples in a storage area in a small shelf,
and I will assign a name and number for each shelf to keep all samples in ,
then I need to make a program using access to enable employee to input the
sample number and the program should give him the location of the sample ,in
which shelf and area.
