I want to make a 6 sided brochure on letter-size paper

I want to type to a template that that will fit on a letter-size piece of
paper to fold into a 6 sided brochure. Laying down mostly text with a couple
of graphic pictures.

Which program will you be using to create this document?

If you are talking about a "cube" then your template will look like a
"cross" that is 4 down and 3 across made from 6 squares. If on the other
hand you mean "6 panels" 3 on 1 side of the paper and 3 on the other,
just lay out 3 columns.
