I want to make a PowerPoint presentation my screen saver. How?

Someone sent me a powerpoint presentation that I would like to use as my
screen saver. I've tried converting it to Adobe, but I keep getting an error
message each time I do that. I know how to go into the Control Panel,
Display, Screen Saver, and click on My Pictures Slideshow and then select the
appropriate file, but I need it to be in "picture" format - I would guess
..jpg or something like that. Thank you in advance for all your help!

I tried accessing news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.powerpoint but
it said I have to subscribe. :(

That link should create the PPT newsgroup for you in Outlook Express (or
most other newsreaders). It doesn't cost to subscribe. All that means is you
want to see posts from that newsgroup.

Since your original post came via the web, I gave you a web link to the PPT
newsgroup in my previous response.

Unfortunately I still can't get it to work.... I'll submit my question to
the Microsoft PowerPoint community.
Thanks.

When you post to the PPT group, you'll want to mention what version of PPT
you're using, what version of Windows, and what techniques you tried to
create your screensaver.
