I want to put my lesson plans in a folder. How do I do it?

I would like to place all of my lesson plans in a separate folder for the
year 2009-2010. I have typed them, but I do not know how to make a folder
for them in My Documents.

From any file operations window, right click in files area and select 'new'
'Folder'. Give the folder a suitable name eg 'Lesson Plans 2009-10' and
save your lesson plans in that folder.

There's also a Create New Folder button in the Open and Save dialogs in Word
(which I consider the easiest way to create folders), but moving existing
files to a new folder is much easier in an Explorer window that displays the
Folders pane, as in My Computer/Computer or Windows Explorer.
