I want word to run in windows 3.1

Have no idea. This is a Microsoft ACCESS newsgroup.

We work on Access databases.

I'm betting that if you check the requirements for Word 2.0 you will find
that it will not run on windows 3.1. Isn't 3.1 about 10 years old?

You should ask your question in a group related to Windows 3.1, such as
microsoft.public.win3x_wfw_dos.

Word 2.0 should be available on EBay.
