i was told i could get office 2007 from getting office 2003

i was told by pc world that when i bought my version of microsoft office
student and teacher edition 2003 (before the 2007 version came out) that i
could update my 2003 version to the 2007 version. how do i do this?

If you purchased MS Office 2003 between 26Oct2006 and 28Feb2007 then you may qualify for the technology guarantee upgrade. Follow

Except that Office 2003 Students and Teachers Edition (which is what the
OP says he has) is NOT a qualifying product for upgrade to any Office
2007 edition.
