iBook Won't Recognize Palm Zire72

I would welcome any feedback or help with the following:

On a Mac iBook running OS 10.4, I have successfully set up Entourage
2004 to synch with my Palm Zire. I did my most recent HotSynch with
Entourage about a month ago.

Since then, to resolve an issue with another program (Quicken), I
created a new account on my iBook, gave it administrator access, and
successful transfered my Office Identies Folder from the Microsoft User
Data folder on my old account to the same location on my new account.
All my Entourage data successfully transfered to the new account.

Except now my iBook won't recognize my Palm Zire72 when I attempt a
hotsync.

I have reviewed all my settings via the Mactopia support files.

But nothing in those support files addresses the failure of the Mac to
recognize the Palm, nor the failure of Conduit manager to launch when I
touch the hotsynch icon on the Palm,

I welcome any suggestions.

I am pleased to note that I have resolved this issue within moments of
posting this query, so I'll explain the resolution for others who may
have this problem.

Reviewing the Hotsync Software Setup box, I noted that the option
"Enable Hot Sync Software at Setup" was not checked.

When I did so, and restarted the computer, the iBook recognized the
Palm and launched the Conduit manager and sychronization
