ical 2003 to 2000 outlook

I usually send my calendar meetings home and drag them to my outlook 2000
calendar. However at work we upgraded to Outlook 2003 and now when I send the
ical home this is the message I receive:

Can't copy the items. Cannot import vCalendar file. Could not complete the
operation. One or more parameter values are not valid.

How can I fix that.

Microsoft offers a hotfix for Outlook 2000 to improve its compatibility with iCal/vCal 2.0 meeting requests. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=823199 . Alternatively, Outlook 2002/2003 senders can avoid using reminders in the meeting requests and ..ics files that they send to Outlook 2000 recipients.
