iCal syncs one way only

iCal and Entourage are not playing well with one another.

I'm running Entourage 12.1.2 which is getting my calendar and email from an
exchange server through the OWA. This has been and continues to work
perfectly.

I was attempting to sync my entourage calendar info (and nothing else) with
iCal. I turned on SyncServices in Entourage and chose the appropriate
calendar, And I selected for items to be Merged.

I open up iCal and there is no calendar data.
So I read the iCal Sync FAQ at (

And nothing there helps.

I turn off Syncing and restart the computer.
Opened up iCal, removed the Entourage calendar, closed iCal opened up
Entourage and re-enabled syncing. This time I chose to erase all iCal data.
Still no entries appear in iCal.

As a test I create appointments in both iCal and Entourage. Funny thing
happens.
When I create the appointment in iCal it shows up in Entourage. When I
create an appointment in Entourage it does NOT show up in iCal. Also
deleting the test appointment in iCal removes it from my entourage calendar
as well.

The only other calendar in iCal is a google calendar that is syncing using
CalDAV (see

It shows up as another calendar (like the default home & Work iCals)

Anyone else have similar problems?
Or have any ideas?
