Icon Meanings

Some of my Excell and Word files appear in explorer icon view with a smaller
icon in the left bottom which shows one arrow rotating right and another
rotating left. What does this mean!

A small arrow pointing to the upper right usually denotes a shortcut.

Don't know anything about one pointing to the left.
