Icons look horrible - low res like

Office 2007
Vista Home Premium
When I open an Office file the ribbon looks like old 8 bit icons. They are
pixilated and very poor quality. All other programs and screens look sharp.
I remember reading about this when I first got this computer. But, can I
find it again? Of course not. Many thanks. Forums rock.

What do you have set for your display options? Is high contrast enabled?

In Personalization, Display Settings I have resolution at "high" and color at
"32 bit 1680 X 1050". In "Appearance Settings" I have it set to "Windows
Aero". I went to Media Center and "Windows Media Center Standard" is checked
and not the options for high contrast. I am not sure this is what you meant
though. Thanks.

Oh my. I just changed the Aero setting to Vista Standard and now it looks
great! Thanks for your ideas.
