Icons on Shortcut bar look like 16 color.

I have about 20 icons on my shortcut bar. But about 50% of the icons I've
added from other programs look like really low color. I cant tell the
difference between the TechNet Icon and the Paperport icon.

I have build a couple custom icons for some of the shortcuts but the others
aren't linked directly to a shortcut so I cant choose a different Icon.

Any help or settings I can change to display the icons properly.

Presuming you're speaking of the Office Shortcut Bar, poor-quality display
of icons is one of its features. If you like prefer its functionality to
that of the alternatives, you'll just have to put up with ugly icons.
