Those characters are included in a font by the name of Wingdings, which
should be available. Go to Insert>Symbol & you should find what you're
looking for.

Do the following:

1. On the Insert menu, click Symbol.
2. In the Symbol dialog box, click the Symbols Tab.
3. In the Font list, Select Wingdings 2
4. In the from list, slect Symbol(decimal)
5. In the Character Code, enter 60 for thumbs up.
6. Click the Insert button
7. In the Character Code, enter 61 for thumbs down.
8. Click the Insert button
9. Click the Close button
