Is there some way of getting other icons and installing them into the windows
or office icon folder that comes standard with these programs

Hello Skywalker. You can manually edit the existing icons. Here's how I
do it. Right click on any toolbar and select customize.
With that window open, right click on the button you want to change and
select Edit Button Image....

Not what you wanted, but it will work for you.

Hello skywalker,

A Google search for "windows icons" turns up about 12 million
hits -- several of which in the first page are free.
