I know this has been asked before, but I really like the elegant
solution proposed by S.Y.M. Wong-A-Ton at
http://enterprise-solutions.swits.n...nfopath-form-submitted-sharepoint-library.htm
..
However, there are some problems and it doesn't seem to work. I know
he reads here, but if someone else knows how to answer it, please feel
free to help me out!
First, how does this change the ID? You never tell it to add this new
number as the ID for this form, so the max ID stays the same every
time. Second, I tried to do this, but ended up with NaN, probably
because there isn't already a form on there with the ID of 1 (or 0) to
add 1 to. The max(@id) is returning a NaN. Do you have any ideas on
how to fix this (did I miss a step?) or is the best way to create a
custom field/column that I can query every time instead of querying
the ID, which I don't know how to edit manually to start off the
count.
