I'd like to display a "T-minus.." countdown clock in powerpoint id

I was imagining a kind of "24" (the series) style stopwatch counting down to
a set event in my presentation; is this impossible (comments on how
ridiculous it is stylistically also welcome!).

Lucy answered a similar question a few hours ago so I'll just quote her
answer:

Hi

Have a look here:
Clocks and timers for PowerPoint
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00081.htm

Personally, I like to use exit animations for this - bars with a wipe of
5
minutes, circles with a single spoke wheel for 1 minute, whatever
appeals
when I'm building it ;-)

Stylistically, it depends on what you are doing. I can think of some
instances where this would be really ridiculous, and I can think of some
instances where this would be a very good thing to do.
