I'd love to turn off the new autocorrect blue underline "options" buttons

I love autocorrect but I wish there was a way to turn off the blue
underlining that autocorrect automatically positions under every item
it autocorrects. I'd remove any single autocorrect entry in
autocorrect if I didn't want it corrected. It seems so unnecessary to
me, and it's frustrating. Anyway, I love Word and I love autocorrect.
It's a great program.

Be sure to use Help | Feedback to make sure your request gets counted.

That originally drove me crazy, but I've now gotten used to it.

A question--the blue line *should* show up at the time when the
AutoCorrection is made, and when you go back and hover the mouse over the
autocorrection, but no other time. The way you word your comment kinda
makes it sounds like the blue lines are permanently there, but that isn't
the case, is it? (If that is the case, say so, that would be a problem that
should be investigated)

PS. I have once or twice found it useful to be able to Undo an AutoCorrect
in special circumstances, after the fact. Not that often, but it can be a
handy feature.

If there were no blue line, you wouldn't realize that something had been
autocorrected (at least not all the time sometimes you notice when it
happens and sometimes not). And if you don't realize there's been an
autocorrection, then you lose the opportunity to undo it. Have you noticed
that when you hover over that blue line, a lightning bolt icon appears? And
that if you click on it, you get various options for dealing with the
autocorrect action? That's what the blue line is for.

The only thing you can do is ignore it.
