Id numbers not the same between views

Under the Tasks tab in PWA, the ID number is not the same as when viewed
under the Projects tab. Why is that and how can I get them to be the same?
People are wanting to use this number for reporting time, they do no, or
cannot use the the timesheet function.

If you insert new tasks your WBS (ID numbers) will change which will cause
the discrepency... Try a publish all to sync the WBS (ID numbers) .
Colloborate>Publish>Publish All
