ID # on jewel case

Recently I had to replace the hard drive on my laptop.
After I got it replaced I needed to reinstall Microsoft
Word. The trouble is that over the past couple of years I
have misplaced the jewel case that contains the ID or
registration # on it. Now I can't reinstall Word. Is there
any other way to install this application or am I just out
of luck?
