Ideas on how to create a "teacher's edition" layout in MS Word 200

I am creating training material for a class in MS Word 2003. I have a
separate participant guide and instructor guide.

What I would like to do is the old-style "teacher's edition" type of layout
for the instructor guide, which has the exact page from the participant
guide, but shrunk so it leaves about 2 inches of space around the side &
bottom for the instructor's information/notes- which are also typed in MS
Word. Kind of like when you put in a picture and can still put text around
it. The participant guide is quite long (probably will be over 100 pages), so
copying each page by page is very time consuming.

Any ideas on how I can insert the participant guide into the instructor
guide (maybe as a picture file or PDF) so I can achieve this look?

you may want to use a
newspaper style template
to make an instructors type
publication.

also be sure to make a copy
of both your files and keep
in a safe place while you
experiment while developing
your publication

also you might try to look
up how to's on the
microsoft.com office
website.
