ident.cab problem

i am running vista beta 2 and i have office 2007 beta. the problwm that i am
having is that i go onto the microsoft office web site to upgrade the office
and will not allow me to do so becasue of a problem with "ident.cab" being
corrupt or will not allow me to download. it says it has a signiture error.

Hi;

Vista Beta does not normally use the "ident.cab" file, as it is a vestige of
Windows Update 4.0. I'm assuming this was an upgrade from an older version
of Windows. Also, Office 2007 isn't currently supported on the Microsoft
Update website.

This may help: Open "Program Files" then "WindowsUpdate" then the "V4"
folder. Delete everything there except for the "iuhist*.xml" file. I
recommend you thereafter use the Vista Microsoft Update applet to get
updates for your system, setting the option to get recommended and other MS
product updates.
