Identification number

I had a problem with anew computer and had to reload
Windows XP and lost Windows Office. I have the CD for
reloading but do not have the case it came in with the ID
number that is required for reloading. How do I reload
Microftsoft Office?

What version of Office? If 97 or earlier, you are out of luck. If 2000 or
XP, you can contact MS for a replacement key:

http://support.microsoft.com/directory/phone.asp?sd=gn

If it's an OEM copy (provided with the PC) you may need to contact that PC
supplier for the key.
