Identify info that is duplicated in a column

I have a large spreadsheet. There is one column in
particular that I want to have unique IDs. Problem is I
am copying in the info from different sources and then
sorting on the ID, there is too much information to
easily see if a number is duplicated. Anyone know of
something that can help?

Thank you! Have a nice weekend!

Copy your data in from the various sources and line it all up one set of dat under the other, so
that you have a complete list, even though it contains duplicates. Now if you want your data
sorted then do so, and then use Data / Filter / Advanced Filter, checking 'Unique values only' and
copy to another location, Choose another location underneath your existing set of data and hit
OK - This will put a unique set of values in for you. Now just replace the set above with your
new cleaned up set of data.
